Hello & welcome to Morning Star Folk Arts. We are a country gift shop nestled in the hills of Pocahontas County, West Virginia. Through the patronage of many loyal customers both online & in our physical store, 2008 will make the 15th season our doors have been open! Thanks to all our friends & loyal customers for making this possible :)

Inside our store you will find we specialize in pastel drawings of flowers by Elaine as well as Kenny Bostic's original paintings of WV wildlife. Some other WV crafters include "Turtle Rock Pottery," "A Primitive Glow" primitive candles & accesories, and we

also offer a full line of gourmet jams, & salsas homemade by our friends at "Yoders Country Kettle" & the "Blue Smoke Salsa" company. In addition to the products offered by WV artists, we also have a

large selection of WoodWick candles, reed diffusers & scented oils. A full line of natural soaps, body butters, & lotions. And collectables from the likes of Demdaco's Willow Tree, & Blossom Bucket.

We understand that not everyone has the opportunity to experience our store in West Virginia, so we will be offering many of our items online at this site:) We will make these products mentioned above, & many others too numerous to list, available for purchase as soon as possible.

As always, we offer low shipping rates and gift wrapping FREE of charge (just ask for this). We do ship worldwide on most items & generally mail most packages within two days of receipt of payment.

Welcome to our online store where you will find all of Dwight Diller's current recordings, movies, and instructional dvds. We also try to carry music by many of West Virginia's finest artists.

Please excuse us while we are still working on bringing the website up to date with audio-clips for all tunes on all cds. While the summer brings tourists to our store, the website gets put on a back burner. Thanks for your patience and check back often for progress.

Check out the items at the bottom of the page for new or popular items. The tablature book is now offered as a PDF e-file on one CD, along with the 2nd CD of Dwight demonstrating the tunes on banjo. This is NOT a new tab book, but a new format!!

Dwight's newest recording is a collaboration with his friend Gail Hatton. Together they bring you authentic mountain ballads from their heritage. Dwight sings here songs learned from Maggie Hammons,

Currence Hammonds, Genes Cottrell, & Lloyd Chandler of NC. Gail brings her songs from the Old Regular and Primitive Baptist traditions, as well as from her grandparents in Kentucky.
